Summary
Arizona State opened its home season with an 84-41 rout of Jackson State on Tuesday, giving Molly Miller a dominant start to her second year.
The 43-point win underscored the momentum Miller has built since arriving from Grand Canyon, where she reached the NCAA tournament before taking the Sun Devils job.
Arizona State had already jumped from a 10-win team before Miller's arrival to a 24-11 record last season, ending with a First Four loss in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
At 41, Miller drew added attention online during the opener, extending the higher-profile presence that has followed her early turnaround of the program.
