Summary
Final screen tests at Bray Studios in the UK reportedly included Robert Pattinson and Nicholas Hoult, identifying the two previously unknown contenders for Amazon MGM’s Bond reboot.
THR said the pair were established names above earlier reported candidates such as Callum Turner, Josh O’Connor and Jack Lowden, after weeks of tabloid claims that Turner or O’Connor had already won the role.
Justin Kroll had teased that one mystery actor stars in a 2026 Amazon film and another “likes to wear a mask,” clues that quickly fueled speculation around Pattinson and Hoult before the update named them.
The tests are part of the search for the next 007 after Daniel Craig’s 15-year run, with Denis Villeneuve attached to direct Bond 26 and no official casting decision announced.
