At SID Display Week 2026 in Los Angeles, it also introduced a 5K monitor panel with 220 PPI and RGB stripe layout, plus a 16-inch Tandem OLED for AI PCs.
The new Tandem OLED cuts power use by 18% and nearly doubles durability; its first automotive panel reaches 1,200 nits and more than 15,000 hours, with mass production due this year.
LG Display said the technology will later expand to IT and consumer devices, alongside concepts including a humanoid-robot P-OLED, a 57-inch pillar-to-pillar car display and a 32-inch slidable OLED.
