Summary
August 7 is the reveal date for what Dodge strongly signals is a revived Charger Super Bee, teased in a short video filled with bee imagery and black-and-yellow cues.
More than 550 hp and 531 lb-ft will come from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six, with the car expected to land near 600 hp.
That output could cut 0-60 mph to under 3.9 seconds and the quarter-mile to under 12 seconds, making it Dodge’s most powerful Sixpack-powered Charger yet.
Roadkill Nights will host the launch as part of the Charger’s 60th anniversary, with more events set for the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15 and the NHRA Great Lakes Nationals in mid-September.
Dodge also flagged additional product announcements, while Ram, Chrysler and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck drivers are set to appear at the Detroit-area celebration.
