Aug. 1-5 brings Disney+ and Hulu’s first August wave, led by National Geographic documentary “Time And Water,” “Futurama” Season 14 on Aug. 3, and eight-episode “Star Wars: Visions Presents — The Ninth Jedi” on Aug. 5.
The rollout mixes originals and returning franchises with a heavy batch of licensed films and live events as the services open the last month of summer.
Hulu’s schedule also adds titles including “Land of Bad,” “MaXXXine,” “Ex Machina,” the “Jurassic Park” films and “Men in Black” trilogy, while Disney+ carries the final two days of the Lollapalooza livestream.
The lineup extends Disney’s broader August push, which also includes “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” Season 3 and other franchise-driven releases later in the month.
