Bethesda released Fallout 76 update 1.7.25.39 with downloads ranging from 9.8 GB on Steam to 22.6 GB on Xbox, bundling broad bug fixes with a status update on native current-gen console versions.
Native PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series development is still underway, with Bethesda planning a console testing period for existing owners that will also bring console players into the Public Test Server.
The patch fixes event and gameplay issues including Head Hunts failures, V.A.T.S. melee problems, enemy detection after fast travel and audio-device crash bugs, while rebalancing Infestations and boss fights.
Other changes raise ammo drops, cut legendary drops from non-boss enemies, reduce the Heart of the Swamp Mirelurk Queen's health and add server-wide Infestation alerts, with more feedback-driven changes slated for fall.
Bethesda also flagged one known issue: French voice-over for the Burning Springs update is unavailable for now, with subtitles recommended until support returns.
