Summary
35,000 fans at Zac Brown Band’s Aug. 2 Fenway Park show were each given a cruise for two on Margaritaville at Sea, a giveaway the band valued at more than $40 million.
Brown announced the surprise before performing “Same Boat,” calling it the biggest giveaway in history, while representatives said it was the largest audience gifting in live entertainment.
Fenway’s 15th consecutive sold-out Zac Brown Band show served as the backdrop for the promotion; cruises can be redeemed on select sailings over the next 12 months.
Margaritaville at Sea is the presenting sponsor of the band’s 27-date Love & Fear tour, which runs through November and will continue offering four cruises per show.
Brown said the tour is meant to reward fans with something unique, extending a fan-appreciation push that follows the band’s Sphere Las Vegas residency in December 2025.
