Maria Menounos threw the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park before Boston’s 11-1 rout of Arizona on Aug. 17.
The appearance supported the Jimmy Fund’s cancer-research telethon, tying the event to Menounos’ own experience as a pancreatic cancer survivor.
Fenway also hosted country star Zac Brown, who marked his 15th consecutive sellout at the ballpark and highlighted his veterans charity, Camp Southern Ground.
Brown added a fan giveaway by offering free Margaritaville at Sea cruises to concertgoers, broadening the night’s mix of baseball, fundraising and entertainment.
