Summary
Ali Khan, 62, was jailed in Bucks County after failing to post 10% of $500,000 bail on charges including child endangerment, corruption of minors and indecent assault.
Police said the Bensalem bus aide allegedly touched a 14-year-old girl with special needs multiple times on July 29 and 30 while she rode to an extended school year program.
Bus surveillance footage allegedly shows Khan directing the student to a specific seat, touching her while securing her seatbelt, engaging in sexual conduct and using a cellphone to photograph or record her.
The girl’s parents reported the alleged abuse on July 30, and Bensalem School District said Khan was immediately removed from service pending criminal and administrative investigations.
Khan’s preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 11, and police said the investigation remains ongoing.
