Summary
At the Aug. 5 premiere, Anna Pigeon cast members said Lea Thompson made the set unusually warm and upbeat, praising her as both director and executive producer ahead of the USA Network debut on Aug. 7.
Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Nikki Rae Hallow and Ryan Northcott said working with the Back to the Future star exceeded their expectations, describing her as down-to-earth, professional and open about her Hollywood experience.
Ryan Northcott and Ronnie Rowe singled out one surprise from Thompson’s directing style: she danced on set, including Broadway- and classical-style routines behind the scenes.
The series stars Tracy Spiridakos as park ranger Anna Pigeon, a crime-solving lead adapted from Nevada Barr’s bestselling novels.
