Xbox Adds 5 Free Play Days Games as NBA 2K26 Runs Until Aug. 14

Xbox’s latest Free Play Days lineup offers five titles, led by NBA 2K26, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint, with most trials ending late on Aug. 9.
NBA 2K26 runs longer than the rest—through Aug. 14—while Wax Heads is limited to a two-hour trial and Sports Renovations requires Game Pass.
Ghost Recon Wildlands arrives just after receiving a free Xbox Series X|S upgrade, giving this week’s promotion an extra draw for console players.
Breakpoint and Wildlands are also 90% off for players who want to keep them, though NBA 2K26 and both Ghost Recon games are already included for some Game Pass subscribers.
