Roanoke police said 24-year-old Joshua Moore died after a Friday night crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV at 11th Street NE and eastbound Orange Avenue.
Around 8:50 p.m., first responders found Moore had been thrown from the motorcycle; Roanoke Fire-EMS treated him and took him to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
The SUV driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with crash investigators, while police said the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
