Jesse Allen Davis Arrested After 3 Alleged Car Attacks on Georgia Jogger

Cobb County deputies booked Jesse Allen Davis, 21, on felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor hit-and-run charges after police said he tried three times to run down a woman in Marietta on July 19.
Authorities said the encounter began after a brief polite greeting at the Sedgefield Apartments, when Davis allegedly got into a 2004 Nissan Sentra and drove at the woman at high speed.
A second driver initially blocked his path, but investigators said Davis chased the woman toward Commons Lane, forcing her onto a sidewalk and behind a dumpster, where she called 911.
Police said Davis also hit a gray Ford Fusion and fled that crash; local TV reported he later crashed into a pole. Jail records list his total bond at $5,720.
The motive remains unclear, and police have not said whether Davis and the woman had any interaction beyond the greeting.
