Newly unsealed court documents say Ivan Barias-Florimon texted “I’ll make her life hell” after a woman told him her boss was “going to make my life hell” following her firing.
The surviving victim told investigators she had recently fired an employee from her real estate business and suspected the woman of stealing money, pointing detectives toward a possible revenge motive.
Frederick Werner, 69, was found shot dead in the couple’s Milford home on June 3, while his partner survived a gunshot wound to the head and later identified Stuar Lopez-Reyes as one of the intruders.
Barias-Florimon, 24, and Lopez-Reyes, 25, face murder and assault charges, remain jailed awaiting court appearances, and DHS has said it is seeking to revoke their green cards.
