Summary
More than CNY 100 million in Series B funding will finance Hefei Sizhen Chip Technology’s work on 10,000-bit special-purpose optical computing clusters and general-purpose quantum chipsets.
Goertek and Weihao Core Semiconductor led the round, with Huace Film & TV, Suzhou Venture Capital, Suzhou Financial Holding, Chuangling Capital and Houlang Capital also investing.
Founded in Hefei in 2020, the company builds silicon-photonic quantum computing systems spanning core optical devices to full machines, based on technology from USTC’s Key Laboratory of Quantum Information.
The company already released a cloud-accessible programmable quantum computer in November 2025 and plans to launch a 5,000-bit special-purpose optical computing product by end-2026.
The raise adds industrial and local-government-backed capital to a photonic quantum computing push, while its QRNG chip business gives it an early commercial foothold.
