Android 17 QPR1 Beta 9 is now rolling out to Pixel phones, tablets and foldables, extending a preview Google had unexpectedly kept active after releasing QPR2 Beta 3 on Friday.
The update targets several high-impact bugs: app-switching failures after Circle to Search, sudden loud audio during playback or notifications, reboot loops every 20 to 30 seconds, disappearing foldable taskbar icons and intermittent battery drain.
Build CP31.260623.012 remains on the July 2026 security patch and is available for 22 supported Pixel devices plus the Android Emulator.
Pixel users can install it through the Android Beta Program over the air and report remaining problems through the Android Beta Feedback app or Google’s issue tracker.
