Porsche Unveils €9,950 Chronograph 1, Limited to 100 Buyers of Anniversary 911 GT3

No. International collectors are not automatically barred from the watch, but they are effectively shut out unless they can also secure the companion car under Porsche’s Germany-only sales rules. Porsche has tied the Chronograph 1 – 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring directly to purchase of the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring. The watch is not a standalone retail release: it is limited to 100 pieces, priced at €9,950, and available exclusively to buyers of that anniversary GT3 when orders open in September 2026. The key restriction is the car, not the watch itself. Porsche describes the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring as a 100-unit “market edition” for Germany, which strongly suggests access will depend on being eligible to buy one of those Germany-allocated cars through Porsche’s local sales network. If a non-German buyer cannot purchase the car, they cannot order the watch. That said, “Germany-market” does not necessarily mean only German citizens may own one. In practice, some international collectors with German residency, a German delivery arrangement, or access through Porsche’s German dealer system may still find a lawful route to the car and therefore to the watch. Porsche has not announced a separate international allocation for the timepiece. So for most overseas enthusiasts, access next month will be extremely limited rather than categorically impossible. Without the car allocation, however, they should assume the watch is out of reach at launch.
