Fairfax County police arrested 19-year-old Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos on Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of 42-year-old Carmen Lizet Puch, a Reston mother found dead Monday near Difficult Run Park.
Federal and police accounts say Cedillos-Campos, a Salvadoran national in the U.S. illegally, was caught at the southern border and released into the country in El Paso in April 2024.
