Summary
Some LIV players had still not been paid winnings from the Aug. 9 Bedminster event as of Monday, well past the usual Tuesday-or-Wednesday payout window.
That delay surfaced as LIV confirmed this week's Indianapolis tournament will be the season's last, canceling next week's Michigan finale and raising doubts about whether some players will compete.
The Indianapolis purse is expected to be well below the originally planned $30 million, and LIV also scrapped two post-round music acts, citing unavoidable entertainment-program changes.
CEO Scott O'Neil said ending the season now lets LIV focus resources on a player-owned "new league" with a sustainable model, after July layoff warnings and amid talk of needing $300 million by Sept. 1.
