Samsung Display used IMID 2026 in Busan to debut what it called the first 16-inch OLED laptop panel with a 300Hz variable refresh rate, targeting high-end gaming notebooks.
The panel pairs 2.5K resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio; Samsung withheld brightness details, though the OLED screen is expected to support HDR.
Samsung also showed gaming-monitor panels built on QD-OLED: a 31.5-inch 4K model at 360Hz and a 34-inch 21:9 ultrawide panel, also at 360Hz.
Beyond gaming, the showcase included a 6.9-inch eye-tracking Humanoid Display for robotics, an AI OLED Pendant wearable and an analog-style OLED turntable.
