Sean Duffy Softens Harvard Opposition After Campus Visit for Daughter Paloma

Sean Duffy said he is now "more open" to daughter Paloma attending Harvard after a family visit to Cambridge and talks with a Catholic priest about campus life.
Earlier in the Transportation Department's YouTube series, Duffy said Harvard could "corrupt" students' minds and push a single viewpoint contrary to the Christian and Catholic values he and his wife say anchor their family.
Paloma told her parents she could not turn down Harvard if accepted, while Duffy said he now has to trust that what the family has "armed her with" would be enough.
The episode landed less than a week after a federal judge dismissed the Trump administration's Title VI lawsuit against Harvard, part of a broader clash over antisemitism allegations, frozen research funding and foreign-student enrollment.
