A new Custom EQ in the iOS 27 beta lets AirPods users adjust Low, Mid and High levels directly from the AirPods settings menu instead of relying only on presets.

Apple says users may not see the option without the required firmware update; the first supporting beta firmware was 9A292e, though stable version numbers still vary by model.
