Summary
Thursday night's NFL Honors show left Jason Witten and Darren Woodson out of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's five-man 2026 class.
Witten, in his first year of eligibility, and Woodson, still seeking induction after repeated finalist runs, were bypassed as Drew Brees and Larry Fitzgerald entered on the first ballot.
Adam Vinatieri, Luke Kuechly and Roger Craig rounded out the class, extending the wait for the Cowboys' all-time leader in receptions and their all-time leader in tackles.
The result delays Canton recognition for two of Dallas' most decorated former stars despite Witten's 1,215 catches and 12,977 receiving yards and Woodson's role on three Super Bowl teams.
