Q: Does an 8,000 mAh battery justify a ₹25,000 price tag when gaming and camera performance fall short?

Not by itself. The 8,000 mAh battery is a real differentiator, but whether ₹25,000 is justified depends entirely on the buyer’s priorities. For users who mainly watch YouTube, message, browse, take calls and want a phone that can reliably last two days or even more, the Poco M8 Power makes a credible case. The battery is backed by 45W charging, 22.5W reverse charging, a large 120Hz AMOLED display with strong brightness, IP65 protection, stereo speakers, and unusually strong software support with four Android upgrades and six years of security updates. Those are meaningful value adds in this segment. The problem is that ₹25,000 is also a price band where buyers often expect more balanced performance. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is adequate for routine tasks, but it is clearly not built for demanding gaming, and reports point to stutters under heavier multitasking. Camera performance is similarly modest: the 50MP rear sensor is acceptable in daylight, but weak in low light and with motion, while the 8MP selfie camera is basic. Storage is only 128GB UFS 2.2, which also feels limited at this price. So the battery does justify the price only for a narrow audience: people who value endurance, media consumption and long-term support above all else. Anyone who expects strong gaming or camera results for ₹25,000 will likely find the trade-off hard to accept and may get better overall value elsewhere.
