Summary
€599 buys Sony’s new Xperia 10 VIII, which reaches global markets in late September with a 6.1-inch 120Hz OLED screen, Android 16 and a familiar mid-range design.
50% higher display brightness and upgraded dual speakers are the main changes, while Sony keeps the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery rated for up to two days.
Sony also preserves niche hardware features that stand out in 2026 smartphones, including a microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone jack and dedicated camera shutter button.
A 50MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 round out a package that favors incremental upgrades over a broader redesign.
