Minneapolis Probes 87 Damaged Vehicles in 9 Incidents With No Arrests

At least 87 vehicles were damaged across Minneapolis in nine incidents reported between 2:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Friday, with the biggest cluster hitting 37 vehicles on First Avenue South.
Police said the damage stretched from northeast Minneapolis to downtown and south Minneapolis, including 10 vehicles on Marshall Street Northeast, 10 near Second Street Northeast and Third Avenue Northeast, and nine on Marquette Avenue.
No arrests have been made, and investigators said some reports shared similar suspect vehicle descriptions but no single vehicle or suspect matched all nine incidents.
Police are asking anyone with related video to come forward as they work to determine whether the overnight cases are connected.
