The one-off concert honored Gustavo Dudamel as he exits after 17 years leading the L.A. Philharmonic for the New York Philharmonic’s top job.
Setlist.fm said “Razor” was only the band’s 27th performance of the song, while “Home” had surfaced just once in the past 19 years at a 2022 virtual-reality concert.
Dave Grohl told the crowd he had practiced “Razor” that morning and dedicated it to “OG” fans; the band also performed with a choir in multicolored robes.
The appearance came during a break in Foo Fighters’ Take Cover stadium tour, which resumes Sept. 4 at Rock in Rio in Brazil before a Sept. 18 one-off with AC/DC in St. Louis.
