Summary
HONOR lifted its Middle East market share to 15% in H1 2026 from 10% a year earlier, becoming the region’s second-largest smartphone brand despite a broader sales slump.
Omdia data showed total regional smartphone shipments fell 13% in the first half, making HONOR the only leading brand to post H1 growth as consumers turned more selective.
In Q2, HONOR shipped 1.3 million phones for a 13% share and held second place, while the overall market shrank 19% to 10.6 million units from 13.1 million.
Samsung stayed No. 1 with 4.1 million shipments and 39% share; Apple grew 1%, while Xiaomi shipments fell 50% and TRANSSION dropped 40%.
HONOR said continued investment in products, retail and partnerships drove the gains, underscoring how market-share competition is intensifying across the Middle East.
