Five people were injured after a large-scale Russian missile and drone attack hit Odesa Oblast on Aug. 24, with three hospitalized in moderate condition.
Two Epicentr home-improvement superstores caught fire in Odesa as the main strike also hit warehouse, food storage and energy infrastructure sites, regional officials said.
Footage from local channels showed a major blaze at one store in Peresypskyi district's Kotovskyi area and another in the 7th Kilometre area of Khadzhybeiskyi district.
Emergency crews were still fighting the fires and assessing damage as authorities continued response work across the strike sites.
