ASUS Unveils 720Hz OLED Monitors as Its Fast IPS Line Reaches 920Hz

720Hz is the final spec for ASUS's leaked 24.5-inch ROG Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace, confirming the company’s top Gamescom esports display and lifting the earlier “above 600Hz” figure.
Three 1080p OLED models make up the new lineup: the Tandem WOLED PG259QWS at 720Hz, the QD-OLED XG259QDPG at 560Hz, and the QD-OLED XG259QDNS at 360Hz.
ASUS is pairing those panels with esports-focused features, including a position sensor on the PG259QWS and BlackShield Film on the Strix OLEDs that it says boosts surface hardness 2.5 times and improves perceived blacks by up to 40%.
Two 27-inch Fast IPS monitors broaden the launch: the XG27UCMG switches between 4K 240Hz, QHD 400Hz and FHD 488Hz, while the XG27ACNS scales from QHD 475Hz to FHD 620Hz and HD 920Hz.
Pricing for the new Gamescom OLED monitors is still unannounced, leaving ASUS's record refresh-rate push framed mainly by specs ahead of the show.
