Panda Express Faces Hygiene Backlash Over Video Viewed 80,000 Times

Panda Express had not publicly responded as of publication to a resurfaced video showing an employee spraying above a fryer while food was still being cooked and served.
The clip, reposted across social media after the original appeared to be deleted, drew more than 80,000 views on X through commentator Tony Lane's account.
Lane said cleaning and food service should never overlap because of cross-contamination risks, arguing employees need clearer training and customers need confidence their food was not compromised.
Online reaction was largely negative, with users calling the practice unsanitary, pointing to the worker's dirty-looking shoes, and saying such cleaning should be done separately or after closing.
