Vandenberg launched the Starlink 15-22 mission at 2:35 a.m. PDT, sending 27 broadband satellites into low Earth orbit and expanding SpaceX’s network.
Booster B1082 completed its 24th flight and landed on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You about 8.5 minutes after liftoff, marking the vessel’s 221st recovery and SpaceX’s 655th booster landing.
SpaceX has now placed more than 2,000 Starlink satellites in orbit this year, underscoring the pace of its constellation buildout.
The flight came a day after a Cape Canaveral Starlink launch that SpaceX said was the last planned Falcon 9 Starlink mission from Florida, with future Florida Starlink launches set to shift to Starship.
