Amazon Lets Pixel 11 Buyers Stack $350 Gift Cards With Up to $1,000 Trade-Ins

The catch is that Verizon’s “about $45 a month” Pixel 11 Pro bundle is only cheap on paper if you stay for the full four years and keep every required discount in place. The advertised price combines roughly $15 a month for the 256GB Pixel 11 Pro and $30 a month for Verizon’s Simplicity Plan, stretched over 48 months. Verizon gets the phone payment down with about $380 in promotional credits, but those credits are paid out monthly. If you leave early, cancel the line, or become ineligible, the remaining credits disappear and you still owe the unpaid balance on the phone. There are also qualification hurdles. The offer is aimed at new Verizon customers, requires adding a new smartphone line, switching your number from another carrier to receive the $15 switching discount, and enrolling in Auto Pay and paper-free billing to get another $10 off the plan. Lose those discounts and the monthly bill rises. The headline figure also excludes taxes and fees, so the real monthly cost will be higher than $45. And the “free” extras Verizon advertises — a Pixel Watch 5 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE 5G — come with their own service-plan obligations. Verizon covers the device cost through bill credits, but you still pay for the watch and tablet lines. The larger issue is time. A 48-month contract is unusually long for a phone, especially in a market where many promotional credits run 36 months. That means being tied to one carrier and one financing structure until 2030 if you want the full value.
