Huawei Nova 17 Pro Max Leaks With 200MP Quad Camera as Upgrades Look Minimal

SmartPikachu says the Huawei Nova 17 Pro Max will keep a 200MP main camera and add a quad-camera setup with ultrawide, telephoto and a new-generation red maple shooter.
Minimal imaging changes are expected despite Huawei’s history of pushing Nova camera upgrades, with the leak also pointing to a multispectral sensor rather than a major hardware overhaul.
Nova 16 Ultra and Nova 16 Pro already use 200MP RYYB main cameras, 50MP ultrawide lenses and 3.7x optical-zoom periscope telephoto cameras, setting a high baseline for comparison.
The Nova 17 Pro Max is tipped to replace the Ultra model later this year, leaving open whether Huawei is mainly renaming the top Nova variant or saving bigger camera changes for launch.
