The leak suggests Xiaomi is moving quickly to match Samsung, whose Galaxy S26 Ultra introduced the first built-in hardware-controlled privacy display on a smartphone earlier this year.
June rumors had already pointed to the feature, while the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max are also expected to use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chips and keep rear screens.
