Khamenei Urges Muslim Nations to Confront US, Israel 6 Months After Iran Attack

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei called on Muslim rulers to unite against the United States and Israel, telling religious leaders in Tehran to “know your real enemy” and confront it.
Six months after U.S. and Israeli strikes killed his father and other senior Iranian leaders, Khamenei still has not appeared in public and delivered the message by letter.
The appeal lands after the war exposed splits across the Muslim world, with Iran having struck Gulf Arab targets and restricted shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Strains in the region persisted Sunday: a tanker was hit by an unknown projectile in the Strait of Hormuz, and Turkey will host Saudi, Pakistani and Turkish officials Monday under a new mutual-defense pact.
Violence also continued on Israel’s fronts, with Shin Bet saying it evacuated Yair Netanyahu from the U.S. over a “significant threat” and an Israeli strike in Gaza killing 2 Palestinians, including a 3-year-old.
