Summary
Firmware S948NKSU4ZZHM is rolling out to Galaxy S26 Ultra beta users in South Korea as a 512MB hotfix focused on device stability rather than new features.
Samsung’s changelog says only that stability-related code has been applied, pointing to performance and general user-experience refinements for users already on the beta.
The update is limited to the S26 Ultra for now, excluding the regular S26 and S26+, and Samsung has not said whether it will expand to other beta markets.
One UI 9, based on Android 17, adds Galaxy AI and interface tweaks including a separate Parental Controls section, redesigned volume and brightness sliders, a resizable media player and more customizable Now Brief cards.
The hotfix follows Samsung’s first One UI 9 beta release for the Galaxy S25 series earlier the same day, while timing for the stable S26 rollout remains unclear.
