Microsoft is also easing OneDrive pressure with a new “Opt out of backup” choice that lets users decline repeated backup prompts indefinitely.
PowerToys 0.101 separately adds Window Hopper, a free Alt+` shortcut for switching between windows inside the same app.
The changes mark a broader response to long-running complaints that Windows 11 pushed Microsoft services too aggressively and removed customization options power users wanted.
