Google has dropped the Google AI subscription requirement for Gemini Daily Brief in the US, opening the feature to personal Google Accounts.
Daily Brief uses Gemini Personal Intelligence to scan Gmail, Google Calendar, connected apps and past Gemini chats, then builds a morning digest of to-dos, deadlines and longer-term priorities.
The digest is split into Top of mind, FYI and Looking ahead sections, and users can mark items complete, start a Gemini chat from an entry, or rate results as helpful or not.
US users can access it from the Gemini side panel or by asking Gemini Live, "What’s my daily brief?" with optional morning notifications and required Personal Intelligence, Memory and Workspace integration enabled.
