Sept. 11 police arrested Logan Edward Gray-McCannon, 37, after a woman said he sent himself her sexually explicit video while installing internet service in her Irvine apartment.
Investigators said Gray-McCannon asked to use the customer's phone to test Wi-Fi in early August, kept it for 10 to 15 minutes, then allegedly sent the video via iMessage and deleted the message.
A linked iPad preserved the deleted transfer, and the phone number tied to the message led the woman to identify Gray-McCannon as the technician who had been in her home, police said.
Detectives now believe there may be additional victims, released his photo for identification, and asked anyone with similar contact to come forward as the case continues.
Gray-McCannon, a contractor working on behalf of GFiber through ITC Service Group Acquisition, now known as ASL Intergria, was booked on commercial burglary, nonconsensual image-sharing and unauthorized computer access charges.
