The Galaxy A53 5G is another borderline case that is widely expected to miss out. Its major Android support is said to have ended in April 2026, though security updates should continue into 2027. By contrast, devices such as the Galaxy S23 family, Z Fold 4/Flip 4, and A54 5G are closer to the cutoff and remain more plausible candidates, though Samsung has not confirmed the final compatibility list.
