Oct. 1, 2026 marks the launch of Amazon’s new U.S. employee grocery discount, with 10% off eligible groceries online and 20% off in Whole Foods Market and Daily Shop stores.
The benefit applies from day one of employment, carries no spending cap or minimum purchase, and covers staples such as produce, dairy, diapers, baby formula, cleaning supplies and pet food.
Amazon.com purchases must be eligible items sold and shipped by Amazon, while Whole Foods online orders — including catering — also get 10% off delivery purchases.
In stores, the 20% discount extends across most of the shop, including hot and salad bars, though gift cards and alcohol are excluded.
Amazon framed the program as a way to ease routine household costs, making groceries and everyday essentials more affordable for employees.
