October 7 now looks like the most credible launch date yet for Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 line after two separate leak cycles pointed to the same day, though Samsung still has not announced an event.
July 30 gave the first official clue when Samsung said the Tab S12 would arrive in the second half of 2026; an August 6 leak named October 7, and Evan Blass reinforced that date on September 12 with a tablet image.
$1,199 for the Tab S12+ and $1,399 for the Tab S12 Ultra are the latest rumored U.S. starting prices, with both models tipped to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, Android 17, S Pen support and IP68 protection.
Model details remain unsettled because leaks consistently show only the Tab S12+ and Ultra, while firm evidence for a standard Tab S12 is still scarce despite Samsung’s broader references to the series.
For buyers, the bigger question than the date is value: a likely price increase and modest design changes could make discounted Galaxy Tab S11 models more appealing if Samsung’s upgrades prove limited.
