Games Workshop Lets Salamanders Fire Flamers in Melee for 1CP in New 40K Codex

Summary
Forged in Fire gives an engaged Salamanders unit a one-phase exception: for 1 Command Point, its Torrent weapons lose Blast, gain Close-Quarters and pick up +1 Attack, letting flamers shoot in melee.
That matters because Blast normally bars Torrent weapons from firing while locked in combat across the entire current edition, making this the first army-specific rule to override that restriction.
Forgefather's Seekers also pushes Salamanders' close-range style army-wide, granting Assault to all ranged attacks and +1 Strength within 12 inches, with extra objective-and-shoot utility for Infernus Squads under Vulkan He'stan.
The same Codex: Space Marines preview also overhauled Raven Guard with force-wide Stealth and new concealment tricks, as Games Workshop prepares the 232-page book for pre-order on Sept. 19.
