At £399.99, the device wraps that medical feature into a standard smartwatch package with heart-rate, ECG, blood-oxygen, sleep and exercise tracking, making regular monitoring easier to keep up with.
The review said daytime checks still require the wearer to stop and hold an arm across the chest, while the thicker strap cannot be worn for swimming or showering and heavy monitoring drains battery life.
Huawei has still fit the system into an 11.3mm-thick, 40g watch body, and the reviewer found the longer-term patterns more useful than single readings—especially for managing white-coat hypertension before a doctor’s visit.
