One catch for 33 yards on four targets through two games has put Marvin Harrison Jr. under heavy scrutiny, but the Cardinals receiver said his confidence remains high because it comes from his weekly preparation, not box-score results.
Harrison said the slow start reflects several factors rather than one failure — coverage, pass protection, route execution and quarterback reads — and noted the Chargers rarely left him in single coverage while Seattle fielded one of the NFL's best defenses.
Jacoby Brissett said nobody in Arizona has lost faith in Harrison and that the two have had "good conversations," with the veteran quarterback arguing the outside reaction is overblown this early in the season.
Mike LaFleur and teammate Michael Wilson echoed that support, saying Harrison's approach has not changed even as social media criticism has intensified around the former Ohio State star's high expectations.
