Summary
Samsung updated its support pages with the first official One UI 9 changelog for the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra, after the rollout had already begun on carrier and unlocked models.
My FanCam — the AI video-tracking feature introduced on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 — is coming to the S26 series alongside improved Now Nudge suggestions and relevant information shown directly on the call screen.
One UI 9 also expands customization and privacy tools, including a more flexible Quick Panel, AI alerts for suspicious permission use, and a blue indicator when apps access location.
The builds are now listed as available on T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile and US Cellular, with unlocked U.S. Galaxy S26 owners also starting to receive the Android 17-based update after a messy delayed launch.
