Summary
Saturday Night Live will return Sept. 26 for season 52 with only a modest cast reset, adding two new featured players and promoting Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline to repertory status.
Saidah Belo-Osagie, 29, and Grace Reiter, 25, join the NBC show days before the premiere, which will be hosted by Jalen Brunson with KATSEYE as musical guest.
Chloe Fineman left over the summer after seven seasons when her contract ended and she took a role on Netflix's Myron Bolitar; Please Don't Destroy member Martin Herlihy also departed.
Most of last season's newcomers are staying, and veterans including Michael Che, Colin Jost and Kenan Thompson — back for a 23rd season — remain in the lineup after the bigger post-season 50 shake-up.
