560 total yards powered Missouri to a 45-17 rout of No. 8 Florida in Columbia, turning the game into a one-sided second half and delivering the Tigers' first home win over a ranked opponent since 2024.
340 passing yards and two touchdowns from quarterback Austin Simmons drove the upset, while Missouri controlled both lines of scrimmage and repeatedly exposed Florida's secondary.
42 rushing yards allowed underscored that dominance: Florida star Jadan Baugh, the SEC's leading rusher entering the game, was held to 13 yards on 12 carries.
The win gave Eli Drinkwitz's team a quick rebound from last week's loss to Mississippi State, while first-year Florida coach Jon Sumrall heads into a tougher stretch against South Carolina, Texas and Georgia.
