Summary
OpenAI’s GPT-6 family will be deployed across Atlassian’s platform and Rovo under an expanded partnership aimed at turning enterprise knowledge into actions for planning, building and delivery.
Rovo pairs OpenAI models with Atlassian’s Teamwork Graph, which links people, projects, documents and decisions so agents can assess launch readiness, flag blockers and recommend next steps.
Atlassian said the deal also broadens its access to GPT-6 Astra and the GPT-5.6 series, while more than 3,000 of its developers already use Codex in terminals, IDEs and code review workflows.
The integration extends to ChatGPT and Codex through Atlassian and Teamwork Graph plugins, and the companies are exploring deeper Jira links to assign work to AI agents, track progress and measure impact with DX.
